Generally, a device that converts alternating current with fixed voltage and frequency into alternating current with variable voltage or frequency is called a "frequency converter". The device first converts three-phase or single-phase alternating current into direct current (DC). Then, direct current (DC) is converted into three-phase or single-phase alternating current (AC). The frequency converter simultaneously changes the output frequency and voltage, which changes the n0 on the motor operation curve, causing the motor operation curve to move downward in parallel. Therefore, the frequency converter can enable the motor to obtain a larger starting torque with a smaller starting current, that is, the frequency converter can start a heavy load.  

Frequency converters have basic functions such as voltage regulation, frequency modulation, voltage stabilization, and speed regulation. Their internal structure is complex but simple to use, so they are not only used to start motors, but are widely used in various fields, including various powers, shapes, volumes, and uses. With the development of technology and the reduction of cost, frequency converters will definitely be widely used
