Type of Brass cable gland

Brass cable glands are made of galvanic nickel-plated brass. Therefore, they are stronger than plastic cable glands and offer a higher resistance against corrosion and different types of strain- and mechanical burdening. They are, however, not as strong as stainless steel cable glands.

It can be divided into indoor type and outdoor type according to the installation site.

According to the production and installation materials, it can be divided into heat shrinkable type (the most commonly used one), dry package type, epoxy resin pouring type and cold shrinkable type.

According to the core material, it can be divided into copper core power cable head and aluminum core power cable head.

It is divided into plastic cable joint and metal cable joint according to joint material. Metal cable joints are also divided into porous metal cable waterproof joints, anti bending metal cable joints, double locking metal cable waterproof joints, plastic hose cable joints, metal hose cable joints, etc.
